Relaxation for Nervous Patients Visiting the dentist can be nerve-wracking, so our goal is to create a relaxing environment for our patients. Our staff members are trained to be attentive to our patient's personal needs and concerns. During treatment we have available entertainment distractions such as: watching your favorite DVD or listening to your favorite music on our wireless headphone set. For our patients that are particularly fearful of dental treatment, a prescribed medication can be taken one hour before the appointment. Nitrous oxide or laughing gas is available to help relax our patients. For those who want to be more sedated, intravenous sedation (sleep dentistry) is also available.
